November 2nd, 2018 – Celebrating High School Innovators Round 1

Location: 10 Brickyard Drive, Bloomington, IL  61701

Time: Registration begins at 9AM. All applicants must be checked in by 9:45AM. The event will end around 4PM. 

Event Summary: You will networking, observing and evaluating contestants at Illinois State University’s Startup showcase. After the conclusion of that event, all CHSI Contestants will participate in their own 90 second rocket pitch competition to pitch their ideas to judges. Various prizes will be given away to the top pitches. 

What you need: For the rocket pitch, you may bring 1 powerpoint slide for us to display during the pitch.  

Lunch is provided free of charge

Doors open to the public at Startup Showcase.  CHSI registration lasts until 9:45 in hall outside the meeting rooms. 

10:00 – 1:00    
Startup Showcase presentations and speakers in Brickyard I/II/III rooms

1:00 – 2:00      
Lunch for CHSI participants and discussion on Startup Showcase and presentation tips 

2:00 – 4:30
